Information About Our Products

The possible uses and applications for window films and decorative films are diverse. Here you will find comprehensive information about all types of films, their properties and areas of application.

Installation from inside or outside on a window pane or glass front

  • Reflect sunlight and thus provide heat protection, UV protection and - important for computer workstations - glare protection
  • Darkly tinted sun protection films have a mirror effect that provides privacy during daylight, but at night these sun protection films are no longer opaque from outside
  • Reduce light transmission and therefore darken rooms when the sun protection film used has a strong tint
  • Darkly tinted exterior films are suitable for skylights; very lightly tinted films are especially suitable for rooms where UV protection is the priority (e.g. studios)

Important Sun protection films for interior installation are more durable and usually easier to apply, but can cause thermal stress and even glass breakage and are therefore not suitable for all glass types. Therefore, sun protection films for exterior use must be used on double, thermal, insulating and other special glazing. For polycarbonate surfaces (Plexiglas), special sun protection films for plastic surfaces must be used.

Also called chrome films or spy mirror films, these are essentially heavily mirrored, darkly tinted sun protection films

  • Provide privacy during daylight: you can look out without being seen yourself
  • However, this effect is not reversible: with interior lighting on and darkness outside, the window film becomes transparent
  • For additional privacy at night, blinds, roller blinds or curtains are necessary

Available in matte white, grey, silver or bronze colours

  • Installed from inside and suitable for all window types
  • Provide privacy day and night: even with interior lighting on at night, shadowy outlines are only visible from a short distance
  • Common especially in medical practices and offices, they are also increasingly used in private areas, for example as privacy protection for bathrooms
  • Can also be applied partially at any height on glass surfaces without the risk of glass breakage (no thermal stress)
  • Particularly popular are strips of various widths, lines and squares

Creative design options for your glass surfaces

  • Used similarly to frosted glass films indoors as privacy protection
  • Serve to visually enhance glass furniture such as glass desks, display cabinet doors
  • Also usable to a limited extent as privacy protection

Clear, fully transparent films in various material thicknesses

  • Reduce the risk of glass breakage and thus prevent injuries
  • Reduce UV radiation by up to 96 percent
  • Make break-ins more difficult as glass panes can only be smashed with greater effort
  • Certified according to DIN 52337 (EN 12 600)

Fully transparent and colour-neutral

  • Unlike sun protection or mirror films, they are fully transparent (no privacy or heat protection)
  • Filter harmful UV rays almost completely
  • Significantly reduce the fading of expensive goods and exhibits in shop windows, studios and showrooms
  • Provide splinter protection and can thus reduce the risk of property and personal damage

All furniture films are intended exclusively for indoor use

  • Have a pronounced surface with visible and tangible details depending on the motif - wood films look particularly realistic
  • Adhere to all pre-cleaned, smooth, solid and non-porous surfaces
  • Consist of five different, very thin layers: embossed top layer, PVC film, base film, adhesive layer and carrier film
  • The adhesive layer consists of an acrylic adhesive that is resistant to moisture
  • Are fireproof, flame-retardant, waterproof, antibacterial, robust and scratch-resistant
  • Withstand common household acids such as coffee, cola, soy sauce, salt or ethanol for up to 48 hours
  • We include a basic tool set with every order: squeegee and cutter

Easy Self-Installation

All our films are suitable for self-installation without professional knowledge or special tools. We help you every step of the way - from choosing the right window film to installing your purchased film.

To avoid cracks or damage to your glass panes, it is crucial to pay attention to the glass type before purchasing your window film: Sun protection films for interior installation are more durable and usually easier to apply, but can cause thermal stress and even glass breakage and are therefore not suitable for all glass types. As a general rule: sun protection films for exterior use should be used on double, thermal, insulating and other special glazing. For polycarbonate surfaces (Plexiglas), choose our special sun protection film for plastic surfaces. Decorative films and most privacy films are intended for interior use on all glass types, but we also carry a frosted glass film specifically for exterior use. Don't hesitate to contact us, we're happy to help you choose the right film!

The composition of the films is identical, but exterior films are additionally equipped with a special hard-coat coating that gives the film resistance to all weather conditions. The advantage of a mirrored exterior film compared to a mirrored interior film is clearly in the heat-reducing effect. With an exterior film, heat radiation is blocked before the window pane, so less heat can penetrate inside.

Our frosted glass film provides privacy during day and night. With lighting on in the evening or at night, people and furniture inside can no longer be seen from outside. This makes frosted glass film not only a stylish and harmonious decorative element for your glass surfaces, but also an excellent protection of your privacy in sensitive rooms, especially bathrooms.

Window films offer numerous benefits: energy savings, protection from UV rays, improved privacy, enhanced security, improved aesthetics, easy installation and removal, cost-effective alternative to new windows, protection from heat and cold, and reduction of light reflections.

To remove a furniture film, you should carefully and slowly peel it off. It is recommended to use a hairdryer or heat gun to heat the adhesive layer of the film before peeling it off. For stubborn adhesive residue, a cleaning agent based on alcohol or vinegar can help.
