This self-adhesive frosted window film in Matte Grey gives glass surfaces an elegant sandblast effect with a subtle grey tint. Compared to the classic white frosted film, it allows significantly less light through at 30 % light transmission and reduces glare by 59 %. This makes it particularly suitable for rooms where glare protection is needed in addition to privacy.

Features at a Glance

  • Opaque day and night – reliable privacy protection from both sides
  • 30 % light transmission – for pleasantly dimmed light in the room
  • 59 % less glare – reduces disturbing light reflections on screens
  • Self-adhesive – easy installation without prior experience
  • 10-year warranty against discolouration or peeling

Applications

The grey frosted film is recommended wherever privacy combined with glare protection and subtle room darkening is desired:

  • Office & conference room – glare protection at screen workstations and glass partitions
  • Medical practice & law firm – discretion in reception and treatment areas
  • Bathroom – privacy for windows facing the street with a modern look
  • Waiting room & hallway – privacy in high-traffic areas
  • Partitions & room dividers – as a functional design element

Suitable Glazing Types

This film is suitable for interior mounting on the following glass types:

  • Single glazing – yes
  • Tinted single glazing – yes

Not suitable for thermal insulation glass with low-E coating, tinted double glazing and laminated glass.

Installation

The film is applied to the interior side of clean, smooth glass. Thanks to the self-adhesive backing, installation is completed in just a few steps – instructions and an installation kit are included. If required, the film can be removed without residue.

Note: This film is not suitable for partial coverage. It must cover the entire glass surface.
