Self-Adhesive Sun Protection Film Grey Dark – for Interior Installation

This self-adhesive sun protection film in Grey Dark provides strong heat protection with a neutral, unobtrusive appearance. With 19 % light transmission, it significantly darkens the room while blocking 68 % of solar energy. The grey tint alters colour perception less than silver films and is therefore particularly suitable where natural colour rendering is desired.

Mirror Effect

The dark grey film produces a subtle mirror effect on the exterior side of the window. This effect is more discreet than with silver variants – from the outside, the film appears more tinted than reflective. As with all mirror films, the effect only works when there is stronger light outside.

Important: In darkness with interior lighting switched on, the effect reverses – the illuminated interior becomes visible from the outside.

Suitable Glazing Types

This film is designed exclusively for interior installation on flat single glazing.

• Single glazing – yes
• Tinted single glazing – with restrictions, upon consultation

Not suitable for double glazing, low-E glass, tinted double glazing or laminated glass.

For double glazing or other glass types, we recommend the Sun Protection Film Grey Dark for exterior installation, which is suitable for additional glazing types.

Installation

The film is applied from the inside onto the cleaned glass surface using water and the included mounting kit. Partial installation is not possible with this film – the film must cover the entire glass surface.

Warranty

10 years against discolouration or peeling when applied to vertical surfaces.
