High-quality and resilient anti-shatter film
Rooms, glass doors or partition walls with large window surfaces appear bright and friendly. However, if these large glass fronts are damaged, the risk of injury is extremely high. With transparent, self-adhesive shatter protection film, many glass surfaces can be cost-effectively retrofitted.
Film Thickness
Certified
Anti-Burglary film - clear 300 - interior
Anti-intrusion security film with 300µm thickness (P2A) for interior installation – creates throw-through resistant glazing with 92 % light transmission.
Shatter guard film - clear 100 - interior
Transparent shatter protection film with 100µm thickness for interior installation – holds glass fragments together on impact, virtually invisible with 93 % light transmission.
Shatter guard film - clear 100 - exterior
Transparent shatter protection film with 100µm thickness for exterior installation – no need to enter the building, suitable for all glass types and skylights.
Shatter guard film - clear 175 - interior
Transparent shatter protection film with 175µm thickness for interior installation – provides enhanced protection against glass breakage with 93 % light transmission.

How Does Shatter Protection Film Work?
Shatter protection films are made of tough, elastic, age-resistant polyester. They increase the glass's resistance to pressure, impact, blows and heat.
In case of glass breakage, splinters are held together by the film – the risk of injury is significantly reduced.

Typical Applications
Children's Rooms
Safety in the home
Nurseries & Schools
Protection for the little ones
Conservatories
Secure large glass surfaces
Interior or Exterior Installation?
Shatter protection films can be installed on the inside or outside. The deciding factor is which side of the glass primarily needs protection.
Tip: For larger glass surfaces, we recommend a thicker film.
Additional Exterior Protection
Films applied on the outside provide additional protection against vandalism through scratching or graffiti.
Which Thickness?
Depending on the risk of accident, various thicknesses from 100 µm are used. As a rule: for larger glass surfaces, a thicker film is the better choice.

Frequently asked questions about High-quality and resilient anti-shatter film
We stock transparent safety films in thicknesses ranging from 100 to 175 microns (1,000 microns = 1 mm), each available for exterior or interior application. If security against break-ins is the priority, a 300-micron safety film (anti-intrusion film) is recommended. Safety films are suitable for virtually all glass surfaces.
Self-adhesive safety films are made from a tough, elastic, and age-resistant polyester material that increases the glass's resistance to pressure, impact, force, and heat in the event of fire. In the event of glass breakage, they prevent the pane from shattering completely by holding the glass fragments together. This significantly reduces the risk of injury.
Safety films are suitable for virtually all glass surfaces and are available for both exterior and interior application. The choice depends on the location and purpose: in nurseries, for example, it makes sense to apply safety film to both sides, as the risk of glass breakage from ball games and similar activities exists on both sides.
No, safety films are fundamentally clear and transparent, without any tint, so they do not affect the appearance or visibility through the glass.
Beyond reducing injury risk, safety films provide practical UV protection -- only 1% of harmful UV rays pass through a safety film -- whilst maintaining high light transmission of 93%. They also feature a scratch-resistant surface, offering exceptional durability and resilience.
Yes, all our safety films are certified and hold valid certificates, which can be provided upon request. Our films comply with current safety standards and have been tested and approved by independent testing bodies for their effectiveness. You can be confident that our films reliably protect against injuries from glass fragments.
